The best restaurant in Wilmington, without a doubt. Wait staff is incredible, and will guide you through the extensive menu. Music is always the vibe. Have a drink and buckle up for a ride of epic proportions!

Mom's birthday. She had the cornmeal encrusted trout. I had the whole bronzino. My sister had the salmon and my Dayi had the rockfish. For starters we had oysters, clams casino, calamari and the seafood nachos for two for my nephew and his wife. Everything was great. The Parmesan truffle fries are a standout. My nephews wife had the lobster salad and she loved it. My other nephew had the surf and turf and said it was stellar. I think the bar got overwhelmed since drinks and wine too and ling time to come out. But when they did they were very well crafted and poured. I had the cheese cake and it was very good as well. The only complaint was my mother's Irish coffee came out cold. I will come back, there are just too many food things on the menu.

I had not been to this location since ot was Harrys Seafood restaurant (thats a couple of years now). I expected more or what that used to be. Well were we WRONG! We had a world-class level dining evening! The space has always had incredible ambiance. So, my sister, brother-in-law ahd I decided we would celebrate our 3 birthdays together since all the kids' b'days are enough of a hassle .. let's just have quiet night for 3. We knew it would be expensive, but thats what we expected since it was Harrys seafood grill. The menu is now focused and concise. Our service was incredible. Synopisis .. we were blown away! Best maybe to bullet. I had: o Oysters on half shell fresh and lively .. yumm o I had the baked trout, prepared with brie & tomatoes, on a bed of various lettuces and dijon mustard sauce ,, pan seared, o Filleted flawelessly .. not a single fish bone, This is incredibly hard to do with trout if you know anything at all about fish o Pan-seared to perfection o Flakey and moist fell apart before me on command o A wonderful synergy of flavors/ingredients I have not seen before o Next to our table I saw a person who was enjoying MonkFish dish which I also had my eye on and he was really enjoying So when dessert time came, it took us many minutes to decide on the so many excellent choices (I had the blood orange cherry cheeecake) .omg .. yum When our dessert arrived, EACH (of our 3) desert plates had a personalized, hand drawn, Happy Birthday scripted in caramel around the edges of the dish. And all the while, you can see the kitchen in action across the room. Clearly a calm group of REAL professionals! Got a question . just walk up and ask the chef! What a relaxed and CONFIDENT approach! No waiting .. anticipated our needs before we even knew what we might want/need. Worth EVERY dollar! This location on the riverfront is a bar as well I used to hang many year ago as so. They have an incredible outdoor area right on the riverfront. I will now go back to see if my new "haunt". Yummy raw oysters will bring me back every time, but the focus on CUSTOMER is what impressed me most!

The waiter i had was super kind, complimented me on my outfit and had us set up with drinks in no time. she explained some things i was unsure of on the menu very nicely and had good recommendations aswell. definitely try the crab dip when you go. the restaurant has a very cool industrial underwater theme that was nice to look at. the bartender pours the drinks strong. surf and turf was very good, the garnishes in the middle were definitely interesting. some of them took a little getting used to. the fish dish i cannot remember for the life of me but it was so delicious, and seared to perfection.

My husband and I had the best lunch this Saturday afternoon. We shared a bowl of the Clam Chowder. First of all, it was superb. It was an elevated taste sensation. It was creamy yet light and bright, filled with potatoes and clams. The chef made this with such an elegant style, I can't wait to have it again. Then for my lunch I enjoyed a new menu item, the cavatelli with shrimp, roasted artichokes, plum tomatoes with preserved lemon and capers. The pasta is so light it melted in my mouth. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. The flavor of the sauce was magnificent. My husband had the Ahi tuna tacos. The tuna was sushi grade cut into small cubes inside of a tortilla filled with a lovely salad. It was amazing. I can't wait to go back and see the wonderful waiter who made me feel special every time he walked by the table to check on us. A total treat and we can't wait to go back.

Been here a few times for lunch and will definitely keep returning when in the neighborhood. Staff is friendly and attentive, the restaurant has a great "old" seaside vibe with a great view of the river. For this lunch I grabbed a Maryland Crab soup and paired it with the shaved Brussel Sprout salad and a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned. Delicious and mostly healthy.

I enjoy stopping for an impromptu afternoon cocktail and snack. Today my criteria was an outdoor area, preferably with a view. We came upon Banks Seafood that fit the bill, sitting on their covered patio adjacent to the Christina River. I vacillated over a cool sounding cherry vanilla cola bourbon -- I probably should have tried it -- but ended up with my typical ho-hum cab. (I actually enjoyed it!) We shared an order of seafood nachos, which photographs horribly, but tasted okay. I didn't know what to expect, and truthfully, I didn't love it. But you might! What made the stop worthwhile besides the setting, was Ryan, our server. Friendly, funny and on the ball.

Fantastic spot for some of the freshest and most diverse oyster menu you can find. Truth be told, the only place we had bigger variety was in a Tokyo wet market. Perfectly shucked and identified, we chose 6 west coast oysters from Oregon, Washington, and a pair from Maine and another pair from Nova Scotia. Well chilled and nicely presented, we made short work of them all and had some salmon for the little one and other nibbles for the table. Our server was a pleasure and she came frequently to clear a plate, fill a glass and even sneak a peak at the kaleidoscope my daughter just got at the nearby children's museum. Excellent all around meal, and when we are in the area again soon, I'm sure we will be returning
